I’ve been in the mortgage industry for 16 years now and love helping the dream of homeownership become a reality. I started as a loan processor, so I know all the details that surround the entire loan process. After a year of processing, I moved to the origination side. Some of the areas I specialize in are New Construction Homes, VA Loans, and FHA loans. New construction is my passion and I am also a Licensed General Contractor. I have and continue to work in the following Counties: New Hanover, Pender, Onslow, Duplin, and Carteret County, however I am licensed for all of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and California. I have a work hard, play hard attitude and I will not stop until your loan is closed. I can help you realize your dream of homeownership if you are willing to follow my guidance. “If you can dream it, you can do it.” That is my philosophy. Failure is never an option. With my broad experience in the industry, I can help walk you through the entire process. I have experience in all sides of the mortgage process, from being a customer and buying a home as a young recent college graduate, to originating as a loan officer, and finally, investing in land, rental properties, and building my own homes. With the experience as a loan officer as well as a processor, I understand the entire process and can empathize with my customers’ needs. I’m very customer service oriented and am here for you, the client. I want to exceed your expectations through every step of the process. I will be honest and up front about everything surrounding the mortgage process form the beginning to the end. I have a lot of experience with various products such as VA, USDA, FHA, NCHFA, and Non-QM, as well as various home types such as Land, Manufactured Housing, and Condos. This helps to make me a great resource in finding the right loan product for you. Originally, I’m from Springfield, Ohio and moved to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2001. I am a local Seahawk, having graduated from UNCW in 2005 and I love the Wilmington area. I received my B.A from UNCW and the Cameron School of Business with a major in Business Marketing. My wife and I currently live in Hampstead, NC where we have two beautiful daughters together that we are so thankful for. I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy all types of sports, my most passionate being wakeboarding, surfing, fishing, and boating. I am a water freak, so I try to get on the water whenever possible. I also love basketball, hockey, and beach volleyball – all of which I am actively on teams within the community. Lastly, I love real estate and new construction, which is why I am in the business! You will often see me going through open houses and new neighborhoods on the weekends because I enjoy watching our community grow!
