A Little Bit About Kristian

I am a seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer and Branch Manager with nearly two decades of experience in the mortgage industry. Since beginning my career 19 years ago, I have been dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership through knowledgeable guidance, clear communication, and exceptional service.

I began my career as a loan processor, which provided me with a deep understanding of the full loan lifecycle and the critical details that ensure a smooth and successful closing. After transitioning into loan origination, I developed extensive expertise across a wide range of loan products, including New Construction financing, VA, FHA, USDA, NCHFA, and Non-QM loans. New construction is a particular passion of mine, further strengthened by my credentials as a Licensed General Contractor—allowing me to offer unique insight into the construction and financing process.

I am licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, and Maryland, and I regularly serve clients throughout New Hanover, Pender, Onslow, Duplin, and Carteret counties. My broad experience with diverse property types—including land, manufactured housing, and condominiums—makes me a valuable resource for borrowers seeking the right loan solution for their specific needs.

I am known for my work-hard, client-first approach and my commitment to seeing every loan through to completion. I believe in being transparent, responsive, and proactive from application to closing, and I pride myself on setting clear expectations while guiding clients confidently through the process. My philosophy is simple: If you can dream it, you can do it.

Originally from Springfield, Ohio, I relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2001 and am a proud UNCW Seahawk, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Business Marketing from the Cameron School of Business in 2005. My wife and I reside in Hampstead, NC, where we are raising our two daughters.

Outside of work, I lead an active lifestyle and am deeply connected to the coastal community I serve. I enjoy wakeboarding, surfing, fishing, boating, basketball, hockey, and beach volleyball, and I am actively involved in local sports leagues. A true real estate enthusiast, I can often be found touring open houses and new neighborhoods, staying closely connected to the growth and development of the community.
