 I started in the mortgage space in 1986. After all these years, the most important thing I’ve learned is the simple, timeless discipline of listening well.  The values that hold my world together include my faith in Jesus Christ, my wife, our kids and eleven grandchildren, enjoying the great outdoors, writing, reading, music, practicing encoragier (Old French: to give heart), and endeavoring to improve my golf game. We also have an amazing adult son with Autism, which has broadened our compassion, involvement, and awareness of the lives of many families with special needs members.
